  Biography:

Hi!

My educational background includes an AA degree here at SPC and a BS degree from USF. While at USF I was grateful to work with Dr. Henry Mushinsky on two undergrad research projects.

At UCF I obtained my MS degree in Biology. Working with herpetologist Dr. Jack Stout, we partnered with The Nature Conservancy and researched the distribution and abundance of gopher tortoises on the Disney Wildnerness Preserve.

I have taught for one year here at SPC. Previously I taught at Indian River State College and Florida Atlantic University's Center for Environmental Studies for 8 years.

My interests include spending time with my family, Bucs football, Zumba/ wellness, and traveling.
